The TalkSwitch 284vs is a full-featured hybrid
VoIP/traditional PBX telephone system that includes everything you need
to sound big, control your communication costs and stay connected
everywhere.
This product bundle will
allow you to hook up up to (2) traditional analog (POTS) phone lines,
which plug right into the RJ11 ports on the back of the Talkswitch
unit, giving you two lines for inbound / outbound calls to the PSTN.
In addition, the Talkswitch 284-VS support up to (4) VoIP trunks,
allowing you to configure up to four lines of Voice Over IP calling,
via your VoIP service provider. (Broadband Internet Connection is
required for VoIP)
The Talkswitch unit also has (8) analog RJ11 (FXS) ports on the
back, into which you can plug your Talkswitch TS-80 analog phones or
your fax machine(s). In addition, you can create up to (10) additional
IP Telephone extensions, using popular IP Phones such as Polycom and
Grandstream.
